Our Statue of Unity tour packages start from Ahmedabad. The one-day trip is a private AC cab priced per vehicle. A four-seat sedan starts at ₹6,500, and you choose the pickup time. Two longer Gujarat tours include a day at Ekta Nagar. Inside the statue, a viewing gallery at 153 m looks out over the Narmada and the Sardar Sarovar Dam.

These are the starting rates on our package pages as of October 2026. None of them include entry tickets.

The day-tour price is for the car, however many people ride in it. Four people in a sedan pay about ₹1,625 each for the car, and tickets and meals are extra. With one free day, take the day tour. Families with young children should skip the evening show on a same-day return, because you would get back to Ahmedabad very late.

• Day tour in a sedan: couples and small families living in or visiting Ahmedabad.
• Day tour in a Tempo Traveller: school and office groups. One vehicle price shared across 12 seats keeps the cost per head low.
• 6-day tour: a first trip to Gujarat. Day 1 is the Statue of Unity, and Gir, Diu, Somnath and Dwarka follow.

One-Day Statue of Unity Tour from Ahmedabad: Indicative Plan

Ekta Nagar is about 200 km from Ahmedabad each way, so the road takes up most of a 12-hour tour. Read the times below as a guide only. Traffic, parking queues and your ticket slot all move them.

Statue of Unity Tickets and Timings

Rates and categories can change, so check the portal when you book. Foreign nationals have separate categories.

• The site generally opens at 8 AM. The monument, gallery slots and evening show each have their own timings, and the portal shows them for your date.
• On weekends and holidays, buy the gallery ticket in advance, because entry depends on the slot you get.
• Private cars stop at the parking area. Official SOU buses run between the attractions, and your driver waits at the parking.

Booking and Cancellation

• One-day tour: free cancellation up to 24 hours before pickup.
• Multi-day tours: you pay 25% to confirm, 50% once you get the hotel voucher and the rest before the tour starts. Cancellation charges start at 10% after confirmation and reach 100% within 3 days of travel. Each package page lists the full slabs.
• Payment: UPI, NEFT/RTGS, cheque, wallets, or card with a 3% card charge.

How to Reach the Statue of Unity

Vadodara is the closest city. Distances are approximate and depend on your pickup point and route.

Ekta Nagar has its own railway station, about 5 to 7 km from the statue, with trains from Vadodara and Ahmedabad. Check train times on IRCTC before you travel. The nearest airport is at Vadodara. If you are starting from there, see our car rental in Vadodara options.

Stay one night if the evening show or the Glow Garden matters to you. Driving back to Ahmedabad after dark makes for a very long day.
