Upon your arrival at the Ahmedabad Airport, you will be greeted by our tour representative who will guide you throughout this adventurous journey. You will then be escorted towards your first destination, Velavadar where you will enjoy the wildlife tour of Blackbuck National Park. So, you will be following about a 3 hours journey to reach Velavadar.

Velavadar beautifully outlines the southern part of Gulf of Khambhat. The park is famous for harboring blackbuck, wolves, and lesser florican (a bustard). Here, you will have many opportunities to capture rare species like the blackbucks, jungle cat, jackal, striped hyenas, Indian foxes in their most wild nature. The other popular sight is roosting of harriers, about 2000 harriers are seen basking together during the sunset.

Wake up to the sounds of thousands of rare birds chirping in Velavadar National park, you will then be served a nice breakfast meal. Then, get ready to resume your Wildlife and Birding tour journey.

Next day, you will head towards Gir National Park which is about 220 km ahead of Velavadar National Park. So, the journey will take about 3 hours and most probably, you will reach the Gir National Park in the evening. Then, the tour representative will allot you your lodging where you will be spending the whole night in Gir National Park.

For the next two days, you will be spending your time in Gir National Park and exploring the two different areas of the national park. And the rest of the time, you will enjoy sleeping under the stars and savoring the camp food.

The Gir National Park is famous for harboring the last remaining population of Asiatic Lions. You will also several species of acacia here at this park, a plant species who’s native are found in Africa and Australia. As per yearly data, about 300 species of birds, 37 species of reptiles, 38 species of mammals, and count more than 2,000 species of insects are found in this National Park.

You can capture the beautiful shots of species like Chital, Nilgai, Four-Horned Antelope, Wild Boars, Mugger Crocodile, Cobra, Crested Serpent Eagle, Indian Peafowl, Rock-Bush Quail, Brown Fish Owl, etc.

After Gir National Park, you will be heading towards Bhuj where you will spend the next two days exploring the rare species of birds and falling in love with the nature in its pure form.

For today, you will first have your breakfast and then, embark on a long journey of 9 hours to Bhuj. When you reach in Bhuj, you will check into your lodge and take rest for the whole night.

For the next two days, you will be strolling around the famous places of Bhuj from where you can spot the rare species of the bird that fly in this area. Bhuj is famous for the bird sighting in its desert area and also along the sea coastline.

Bhuj gives rare sights of species like White-Naped Tit, Grey Hypocolius, Indian Eagle-Owl, White-Bellied Minivet, Bar-Tailed Godwit, Sykes’s Lark, Painted Sandgrouse, etc.

Today, firstly you will have your breakfast then, you will move towards your last destination – Great Rann of Kutch. The white sand is about 373 km away from Bhuj so, it will take around 4 hours to reach this destination. When you will arrive safely in the evening, you will check into your lodge and the rest of the day is at your disposal.

Here, if walk around at night then, you can enjoy the pure bliss of moonlight falling beautifully on to the white desert and shimmering its surface with different colors of nature.

Firstly, wake up yourself with a nice cup of tea and a beautiful sight of white sand. Today you will visit Wild Ass sanctuary where you can capture rare moments of species like wintering McQueen’s Bustard, Sykes Nightjar, Greater Hoopoe Lark, Indian Courser, Great White & Dalmatian Pelicans, Demoiselle Cranes, the Pallid & Montagu’s Harrier, Peregrine Falcon, Tawny, etc.

Once again, you will have a morning visit to the sanctuary to spots the species you may have missed out yesterday.

Then, in the afternoon, you will depart for Ahmedabad Airport from where you will follow your steps to your onward journey.
