Dwarka, one of the Chardham of the All-India Chardham circuit and one of the ‘Sapta Puris’ is quite popular among the devout pilgrims who crave to visit Dwarka at least once in their lifetime and soak in the religious aura of the place. Dwarkadheesh temple is the prime attraction of Dwarka and pulls pilgrims from far and wide all year round.
The Dwarkadheesh temple is an abode of Lord Krishna who had been the legendary king of Dwarka many thousands of years ago. Each day the temple of Dwarkadheesh opens up at 6.30 am in the morning and closes at 9.30pm at night.
